Late Jugal Srimal, the Founder Director of Nehru Children's Museum felt in his heart that children needed to have lucrative means for their informal education that would encourage them to have amusement in mind while they are busy with the drudgery of formal education. Keeping this in mind, Dolls Gallery was made in the museum where children can see the dolls from 88 countries in fashionable dress. With this, a fair knowledge of the dress and appearance of the people from different countries is instilled in their mind of the children and other visitors those who have least idea on globalization.
